Hey, I started working for eXtv awhile ago and I've been organizing an event for them with my New Map Weekend PUG group to showcase two new maps: cp_croissant_b10, and cp_standin_b9. Two ESEA IM teams are going to play each map, first to 5 or 30 minutes; the teams are Mayhem and Bey Bladers. Both Arnold and Scorpio will be casting the match with Greaver of eXtv; the mappers will be on hand to give insight on the map, what changes they've made to the map, what they think of the match, etc. This will happen tomorrow (Saturday the 28th) at 9pm est. I think this event type will mainly be for new maps that are in at least beta. For the public maps, eXtine mentioned that he'd put the map on the three eXtv servers for the cast. The Mother of all Battles! I have converted my multi-stage map over to a single stage because YOU wanted it :) The map has two style of game play - payload and CTF ------------------------------------------ Bue Team "I tell ya boys, we're going to be rich, rich, rich! We found where those dirty Reds have been getting their gold from! Let's go get the gold!" Red Team - "Those blue bastards are at it again!! They want our gold? No F'in way!" Goal: Blue has to get the full gold cart at the bottom of the canyon to their waiting getaway dump truck. Red has to stop them. Setting: Map is set in thge afternoon, so there are different lighting conditions outside and dark conditions inside the caves. Specials: Three mini-ctf style game play sections in the map. One demolition sequence to blow up a barricade. Death carts travel around the map on a random basis try not to get run over. :P Two dancing demo, pyro and heavy take a boat trip.
